Don't: Hair Care

Since I work from home and can't get my hair cut, I thought now would be a good time for something spontaneous. I didn't want to spend money on a color that only lasts a day and I don't want to re-dye it when we start back in the office anytime soon. That was excellent. I confess I took a risk. There weren't any reviews when I ordered, but the other colors got pretty good reviews for being cheap and semi-permanent. Then I saw all the negative reviews about this one popping up. I was hoping that people wouldn't let it develop long enough or made a mistake. But I've used it and haven't noticed very slight changes either. Usually my hair is light brown and the ends are the lightest color. I knew it wouldn't stand out, but that's exactly what I wanted. I was hoping for a shade of purple in my hair that would go well with brown, especially at the ends. My hair was clean and dry and I left it on for 20 minutes. It got a little darker with a slight red cast. In natural light, the change is hardly noticeable. Also fair warning gloves are not included. Claims to be nothing, but is also worth mentioning for those who, like me, might forget that gloves are needed when coloring hair. I'm glad it was cheap but I'm disappointed and don't recommend it. I gave 2 stars as it doesn't smell and changed my hair style a bit.
