Let's face it, a kettle is a kettle. You want it to boil water and this one does just that. and does it well. It's powerful enough to boil water quickly, so you'll never have to wait too long for your cup of tea. It has an efficient, non-drip spout so you don't have to wipe down the countertop and a very large opening that makes cleaning easier as scale inevitably builds up over time. The connection between the kettle and the stand is also well thought out. You no longer have to move the kettle to find an "socket" with a "plug". different from my previous one. The two parts seem to find each other almost automatically (I know it doesn't really. It just seems that way!) Finally, what makes this so cool are the LEDs inside the glass body of the kettle. It's interesting when you first turn it on - but just wait for the water to boil! It's epic (try the kitchen lights off!) and I can imagine a lot of pandemic hours being spent this way! Although I'm 67 now, I suspect some "healing edibles" might make it even better! 🤣😂🤣 So from a practical point of view I really appreciate this teapot, but from an aesthetic point of view I think you can finally throw away your old lava lamp!
