This item appears to be well made. It is much heavier than the stock doorknob. However, the facility sucks. It's not that supplier's fault, it's GM's fault, who couldn't have made it much harder. Unless you have the hands of a three year old, getting the top nut back is almost impossible. There are a number of bars that run near where this grip is mounted. So you have to be careful not to cut the handle with any of them. Installing it on the door wasn't too difficult, but it took almost an hour to install the top nut. Maybe longer. So far I'm happy with it. Let's see how it will perform compared to the OEM version.
