These LED bulbs are NOT NON-POLAR! As they claim. I'm an electronics engineer with 40 years of experience and I know what polarity and non-polarity are. First, they are mechanically polarized by the displacement of the bayonet lugs that lock the lamp in the socket, so they can only fit and lock into the socket one way. Second, they only work with the negative side of the 12vdc power source connected to the case and the positive side of the same 12vdc power source connected to each of the base pins and nothing else, so they only have one as well circuit have polarity. They claim to be a "plug and play" replacement for incandescent lamps, which actually have no polarity because the supply voltage and therefore current can be reversed and the lamp will still work properly. As such, they are NOT equivalent to a traditional lightbulb and are NOT plug and play. If you think the light you emit is not polarized, you need to use the right word to describe it. The expression "non-polarized". Such a claim is useless anyway because incandescent bulbs do not emit any polarized light at all.” In fact, this amounts to false advertising, wasting time, wasting travel expenses and causing unnecessary hassle. The possibility of returning them is not very satisfying as I still need a set of LED bulbs with reversed polarity.
