TOO thick, so thick that the reinforced valve area does not fit between the tire bead.
The reinforced part of the valve was so thick that we couldn't fit it between the bead. If we installed the tire bead first it would have been on top of the tube, when the tube was put back into the tire only 1/4" would have come out of the rim. I've been changing dirt bike tires since the 70's and have never seen anything like it.
