I love fresh basil. I like how it tastes and I like how it smells. For food. I wasn't so sure about myself. But with the utmost respect for all the other "flavors" Frau Meyer makes, I decided to try them on faith. God I'm glad I did that. The smell is very green, clean, warm. I might not have thought of basil at first, but basil growing wild in an earthy, lush garden is more resonant—the scent of the flowers growing on top of the plant combined with the beautiful soil it's growing in. wow i like it Of course, like everything Ms. Meyer does, it works well. Like other fragrances, it is very strong in the bottle and becomes less harsh and more intense when mixed with water. No chemical/perfume smell - only the smell of cleanliness lingers on hands and reminds them to wash hands again.A+
