California water accident. We would have worked that out, but my wife kept hearing the toilet in the guest bathroom filling up with water from time to time. I tried a new level valve and baffle thinking they might fail. Do not go. I checked locally to see if I could find a replacement for the shock seat. Do not go. Bought this unit, removed the tank to install it and smeared silicone grease on the threads and around the seals. Miraculously, a few weeks passed, and the tank was not filled unexpectedly at all. This seat is way better than the old one (which was pretty old). With the exception of removing the tank, which can be a hassle for some, this was very easy. Notification! I have a HUGE pair of pliers that helped loosen the nut holding the old block. This can be a problem for some.
