Yes this case will fit the new MacBook Pro M1 2020 I've been using this case for 1 month now and I'm very glad I have a laptop , which actually has CASE. I've never owned a laptop bag so I'm just blown away by it. It almost makes my laptop ready to join the rugged laptop realm. I have an expensive $4,000 Razer laptop that I use daily, but I've always been afraid of scratching or denting it, and having this sleeve on my MacBook Pro allows me to handle the laptop the way I do it wants without fear of damaging the laptop. I was concerned that the hard plastic would scratch the metal, but after a month of use I see no signs of wear from the plastic rubbing against the metal of my MacBook. I also hit my MacBook on a lot of sharp edges and was surprised at how well this case protects my MacBook. I'm sure this case has prevented MANY scratches and dents. I strongly recommend you to buy this bag even if you think you are very careful with your laptop. I should also add that I had no idea this case came with a silicone keyboard case and I really like that it comes with this keyboard case. While the silicone keyboard case isn't great, I've noticed that if I never had one, a ton of crumbs and water wouldn't get in between the keyboard key slots. I also don't like that the silicone case doesn't let me find the "F" and "J" keys easily because it covers the little ridges that make those keys easy to find. It also seems like the silicone keyboard case doesn't quite fit, but I didn't notice that affecting performance. Other reviews also state that in this case you cannot fully close the laptop and the laptop always opens by 1mm or less, but I haven't seen this affect my MacBook's use. I'm not sure how this affects the use of the laptop when the lid isn't closed 1mm.
