I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. For a few years I was disappointed because it only had a 250GB hard drive and I was tired of running out of space to have. I was willing to buy a new $3000 MacBook but decided to get this hard drive upgrade instead. I watched the seller's video on how to install it and it was pretty easy. Now my MB Pro loads faster and I don't worry about memory anymore. WARNING: Make sure you put the screws on the back of the laptop in the same holes they were originally in; they are different lengths.
