Well, I worked as a surgeon in a spay and neuter clinic for a few years, before that I worked in a veterinary clinic. So I know which brands are the absolute best and I can't tell you how many times I've used clippers to prepare for surgery or what you have. I have a Persian/Himalayan cat so that means LOTS of hair. I've wrestled with the idea of buying this $100+ clipper since I left the vet world. I came across all these great reviews about these clippers and the price? I decided to give it a try because it's still cheaper than taking her to the groomer. I was concerned they might get caught and not work enough for how much hair my cat had umm NO I was wrong they worked PERFECTLY! I might have had to go over the same spot again to get a full shave but the clippers didn't heat up for a good 10-15 minutes. and then WONDERFUL! I gave my cat a break and a few hours later returned to some of her patches and again they worked PERFECTLY! what about the noise What noises? The barley is here and my girl was able to keep calm and even enjoy it! Thank goodness I stumbled across them! Thank you thank you! and if they ever come out i'll just buy another set because it's still cheaper no matter what! Oh, and to top it off, you get so many attachments, scissors and brushes made from the hardest metal ever! I was shocked!
