This mouthguard is AMAZING! I'm a 125lb MMA fighter who has always used the classic single mouthguard (which I've never had a problem with). My MMA coach told me about the brain pillow and strongly recommended I get one. At first I wasn't sure if I should buy one of these because they seem so big, the price and didn't know how it would affect my breath and if it would affect my breath. I have had this mouthguard for about 60 days now and I will never buy another mouthguard of the same style again! It took me a while to get used to the fit, my jaws hurt for the first week or two and I seem to drool a lot more with this mouthguard. However, these are the only "bad" things I can say about this Kappa. Overall this is by far the best mouthguard I have ever had. I am very impressed with how shock absorbing this mouthguard is! I received an (unintentional) knee to the face from a 170 lb man while training with this mouthguard and it absorbed almost all of the impact. I am sure that if I had taken the same shot with a classic single mouthguard I would have been dropped immediately. This mouthguard did not affect my breathing in any way, if anything helped at all. One last thing, if anyone reading this still has wisdom teeth, I have all four wisdom teeth and this mouthguard covers them all. I trimmed the ends a bit because I didn't like how loose they sat in my mouth.
