Poor sound quality but cheap. Too much pressure

I got this from using my ham while cycling. The sound quality is audible but it seems difficult to understand what I'm saying. Considering the low price, this is probably good for what it is. The real problem is that this thing puts a lot of pressure on my neck. I have this when I'm going to ride and in high winds. Although I know it should fit snugly around my neck, it squeezes so hard it gives me a headache every time I ride it. I'm sure it would be fine if you just walked, but if you use this in a situation where you need to exercise then it becomes problematic.
