I love this baby bouncer, we got it before the baby was born and I'm glad we had it when we got home from the hospital. She can move around the house easily and she sleeps very well in it. We tried sleeping together on our bed but it was too risky for us, the walls weren't that high so we put her in her pool which fits perfectly and she sleeps better all night. We tried just laying her on a pelvic mattress (very thin and almost no back support), covered with a waterproof liner, she fiddled around for hours and barely slept. As soon as it starts, we will evaluate again. It's easy to clean, and the "wall" padding is strong but not stiff, and the base is very soft and plush. We always stay on a flat, soft surface. I wish there were different covers to buy with no padding to replace, or to secure when washed etc.
