Authentic Herm Sprenger Collar

I bought a collar for my Rhodesian Ridgeback who loves squirrels, chipmunks and all other small animals. My goal is to leave if they don't pull me if she smells and I don't see the creature. Only two links had to be removed to fit properly - neither tight nor smothering them as part of the fit. Pulling up should only be done with a quick flick of the wrist as a pull correction. If you tend to yell at your dog in anger, I don't recommend it, as the possibility of a violent tug as a "correction" is more likely. IJS Anyway, the teeth are smooth, not pointed. The limbs are easy to bend together, which makes using the simulator efficient. The leash attachment ring is about 1.5 inches, so any type of latch will work, but make sure the one you use isn't rusty or prone to opening on its own. There are two ways to attach and remove the collar: 1) If the collar is positioned so that you can slide two fingers under it, turn the collar over so the prongs are facing you, away from your dog's fur, and remove 2 ) Use square pieces to push on one of the links next to it to pull out the prongs of the "loop" in front of it. It's a bit tricky at first, but you get used to it. Make sure your hands are not wet or oily/greasy.
