The main issue I faced was the lack of things to use it on. Ok for the tool. The tool is bigger and heavier than the plug-in versions, but the lack of that cable is very liberating and worth it in my opinion. Additionally, the speed controller and power button are separate, which seems handy for towing. The 8220-2/28 comes with two batteries, which I think is crucial when purchasing a cordless power tool. Haven't used it for a long time but have never been left without power. The speed range is amazing and it has enough power to get the job done. It comes with a few accessories (be careful when looking at the product description to make sure you look at the parts list for the version you're buying) that are good to get you started, but you'll likely need additional parts and bits. as you go forward. If that appeals to you, get an accessory kit and don't buy the bits individually as they offer good discounts on the kit compared to individual bits. However, it's possible not all the strains you want will be included in the kit, so expect to shell out a few bucks over time. The only thing I don't like is that there is no space for a flex shaft in the housing. The flexible shaft must be purchased separately (or you can get it as a kit). Some other versions of the Dremel can store it in a case. The flexible shaft is a pretty important piece of equipment because you don't need to hold a bulky tool in your hand when doing delicate work. The case has several places to store some of the accessories as well as a small box where you can attach some attachments. Just a word of advice when using a Dremel, they are designed to work dependent on the speed of the tool. and not based on pressure.
