You get what you pay for, these shadow boxes are made very cheaply. I thought I was saving money but I should have spent a little more and gotten a quality product. I gave 2 stars for using them but I should have paid more attention to other reviews. The wood is thin and very porous, varnished in 3 layers - $. You can't levitate as stated in the reviews BUT. I assumed they would stand alone on the shelf, I was wrong. The wood is so thin that it would be difficult to attach a coat hanger without splitting. I need to find easels to show them - more than $$ again. Not to mention the time it took me to paint and find easels for a reasonable price - even more than $$$. The good news is that everything arrived in good condition. I'll pay more attention to reviews next time. Buying cheap is not always better. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
