I live upstairs, i first bought the more expensive model with the back & armbands, but since i bought it from Revain warehouse with a damaged box, the company wouldn't cover the parts (the listing never says the 12 month warranty only applies if shipped from the original manufacturer, so beware). A ball bearing on the pedal seemed to pop out & downstairs neighbor started complaining because it made a loud noise. It always squeaked, but in addition to this sound, i guess it was too much. I should have heeded all the reviews that said how bad these were. They wouldn't even tell me where i could buy a replacement pedal, or sell me one. I found one & it worked great, but i got wd40 to spray on it for the squealing & it made the belt pop off. So, i bought another one of the same brand (this time directly from the manufacturer), thinking i could use the same parts, like the back or the handlebars. Of course not, that would make too much sense. This new one knocks so loud, louder than the other with broken pedal, & squeaks louder too. Reading the intentionally strict warranty, i would have to send this one back & be without exercise for weeks. I guess i will see of i get kicked out of my apartment, or this horribly made bike breaks first. Heed the reviews. Some may be good for others, but beware, i have a 0/2 chance of getting a decent bike that i can use upstairs. The 1st worked great for a while, but after 9 months, it broke. Both were brand new in box, i assembled myself. The part that's bad is the part in the bike though, you don't touch that part, it's preassembled. This new one is so much worse quality in every regard, so do not buy the cheapest version regardless of how badly you need an exercise bike, & how poor you are, if you live upstairs. It's mot worth the headache. For the price of these 2 together, i could have gotten a better brand. I definitely regret it. Learn from my bad decisions, please.
