This was used solely to increase the range of my headphones on my laptop for online courses. It wouldn't turn on or off. It didn't pull or twist. It just worked normally. Trust the negative reviews. The quality of the cable seems really high, with good connectors and a nice thick nylon cord. However, after a month they stopped working properly. Now I have to turn them halfway either at the entry point on the laptop or where they connect to my headphones to get the right sound. When fully connected, the audio is reduced to almost imperceptible levels and becomes tinny. Since it works by fiddling with the connection at both ends, it's obvious something is wrong with the cable itself, not a problem with either connector. The quality LOOKS high but the interior work is important. It goes in the trash.
