I bought this mic primarily for conferencing, gaming/discord, not professional audio production. I used a cheap 3.5mm conference microphone, which left a lot to be desired in terms of sound quality. This works much better than that. I've been using the mic for a few days now and I have to say I'm happy with it. I was very pleased that the included USB-C cable is so long, as well as the fact that the interface on the microphone itself is USB-C OR 3.5mm. Most of the time you buy something like this and end up with a custom connector if the cord breaks or your dear feline friends chew it up. You are in an awkward position. The built-in mute button works great, and the sensitivity dial on the bottom works great too. The microphone is sensitive enough that I was able to place and hide it behind the monitor, which was one of the issues I had with the design. The microphone worked perfectly on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux and both recognized it in plug and play mode. , no additional drivers are required.
