This is not a traditional drawing pen! It's more like paint "wax" or "chalk". Sometimes it sticks to the surface you apply it to and I had to keep a paper towel handy to "mold" the wax into a usable shape. To apply to small corners I had to use a toothpick. It takes a while to dry so I waited overnight and applied a second, thinner coat. In daylight it is not transparent but yellow. It worked great for my purpose and is still very durable on metal. I'm sure I'll use it for other purposes in the future.
