I bought this door sill to cover the metal part of my BMW X7. This is a brand new machine and I didn't want people to scratch the metal part. I think this will work great! Installation is not difficult, but it does take time and patience. What I found useful was attaching it to one end and then pulling it back at about a 25° angle to smooth it out with the other hand. This seems to work best for removing air bubbles. I didn't get them all out, but it's ok. I cleaned the window sills very well with Windex before applying. You definitely don't want dirt under the tape. It also comes off and leaves no trace. I'm very satisfied with this product!
