Review on Peerless ST650P Tilt Wall Mount: Ideal Black Display Mount for 39-75 inch Screens by Piyush Ventura

In terms of build quality I give this product 5 stars. Installation is also fairly easy once you know exactly what to do. However, we had a problem with it the first time. I can fix car engines so I'm not stupid with tools, but the instructions for this peerless mount are terrible. Everything was fine until the moment we tried tilting the mounts. The instructions mention loosening a few screws (in each bracket) to allow for tilt. We did that, but the brackets still didn't move! After more than an hour we realized that additional screws need to be loosened (NOT mentioned in the instructions). To aggravate injury, these screws require a hex screwdriver, which is not included. To kick us further while we're prone, the instructions state that some Peerless mounts come with a hex screwdriver. but not for my model #. That seems strange. Looks like Peerless put the wrong brackets in my package (meant for a different model #) because it requires a cryptic screwdriver. I would buy this mount again now that I know exactly what tools are needed and how to adjust the mount.
