I bought the black 18 x 36 inch (XXL) version. Thickness 4mm. It's great as a mouse surface, but I've also found it really helpful to turn down my mechanical keyboard, otherwise the vibrations aren't transmitted directly to the desk. The pad also absorbs ambient noise well. I'm not exaggerating when I say that working with this creates a comfortable cone of stillness in front of me that helps me focus. Overall very nice and great, highly recommended. My only concern is with a pad of this size, can I keep it clean? and if not, can i clean it again? Only time will tell so I'll update this review when that day comes. The carpet comes with the following cleaning instructions: hand wash or machine wash; When machine washing, cold water, low washing speed and a small amount of detergent are recommended.
