I bought one in 2014 and three years later it started falling apart and the cable head had to be pushed right or left to get a signal to send. I also bought an M series cable which is considered to be inferior to black platinum and it too started falling apart and stopped working. I don't recommend monster cables as I paid a lot of money and didn't get premium quality. Don't be fooled by the "cable for life" slogan, it doesn't live up to expectations. I also contacted the company via email but received no reply. good work, monster incl.
