Well it was a bright electric candle when it worked for the short time I've owned it. I used it in an outlet and it didn't work. So I plugged it into a mute outlet and it glowed nicely. I knew it couldn't be the outlet itself because I plugged the candle into a nearby outlet on the same circuit and it worked fine. I am disappointed as I had my suspicions when the package arrived, the inner box that contained the candle. was slightly damaged but when opened the candle was fine and the bulb was not damaged at all. I wanted to use this green electric candle (C7) that I bought off eBay. Well, it worked for about six minutes, and then the candle just went out. For a while I was trying to find a decent electric candle. I agree with the military regulations, according to which all officers must have a green light in their windows. It is assumed that there is a local unit/operations officer nearby who can be contacted in the event of an emergency. Each individual officer is responsible for acquiring their own gear. I need to find a legal replacement now. Otherwise it was quite light when the electric candle was lit. However, I would not recommend this candle. If you're looking for a lamp that lasts longer than five minutes, look elsewhere.
