I used these 2 dampers for 2 separate toilets, both often worked because the damper didn't close fully. 1 replacement of the damper solved the problem with running water. The second damper still lets water through. I've cleaned and wiped the drain a few times so can't tell if it's a product defect or another toilet component not allowing the damper to fully seat. Otherwise I would recommend it.
