Let me start by saying that this product is in no way a hoax. These are not gimmicks and do not use 'weird marketing' as one reviewer suggested. It's designed to help prevent bloating, and this is where it excels. I've suffered from severe gas and bloating for most of my life and of course I can't control it while I sleep. The material was semi-permeable, designed to push gases through the filter. This was only partially effective, allowing gas to escape from the waistband and leg holes, but it was better than nothing. However, the company went out of business rather abruptly recently and I was forced to look for an alternative. That's when I came across DiscreetZ and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. DiscreetZ completely eliminated the odor associated with my gases. My wife hasn't reported a single puff in the week and a half that I've used it so far, which is absolutely unprecedented. As a bonus, they've reduced the noise associated with stepping on the gas to the point where she doesn't usually know anything happened. It has the added bonus that I no longer have to work to hold gas while awake, which was difficult and painful. DiscreetZ is a small miracle and my only regret is that I didn't find out about it sooner. I use them on "maximum settings" as recommended by the manufacturer. It consists of a small thin round pad that is folded in half and pressed against my anus, then one of the large rectangular pads that is folded into a crease three times and folded into the crease of the round pad. Those with softer gas can be happy with either, but I need both. There is double sided tape attached to the pads to keep them in place, but I didn't find it necessary. The feeling of being pinched between the cheeks takes some getting used to, but after a few days I didn't even notice it anymore.
