Good value for money!

My birding friends recommended binoculars that were out of my price range! Scopes Under $2,500! As an amateur ornithologist, I decided to try an entry-level oscilloscope first. After reading the reviews I decided on Gosky 20-60X80. Oh my god I was shocked when I got the scope. It's very durable and really good quality, better than I expected. It's easy to use, has a sharp focus knob and a zoom knob. The included pouch is a little tight and it's difficult to get the scope in and out, but the included tripod will do the trick. I mounted the scope on a full size tripod that I used to shoot my DSLR so I have more setup and can use it on the ground. You can see the photos I took with the included phone adapter (20x scope magnification and 2x iPhone lens). Watch a video about Downey woodpeckers. (20x scope magnification 1x for iPhone) They were all taken in cloudy weather so the lighting wasn't very good. I think the only slight downside to this scope is that it's good but not perfect in low light, especially at high magnification. I find that putting the phone on the scope is much more convenient than looking through the eyepiece, especially while waiting for the bird to perch on the feeder. I like the adjustable eyepiece rod. Is that a $2500 range? No, but for $125 it's a good, solid scope that gives a clear, magnified image, allowing me to identify and photograph birds. I bought this as a beginner scope, but as an amateur I'm not sure why I'd spend another $1000 to upgrade to something that might be a little bit better when I might not be a pro.
