Excellent optics and perfect magnification. great customer service

I have owned several telescopes and spotting scopes in my 54 years since my first one at age 8. Over the years I have learned what is important and my research has led me to this spotting scope. He got it and thought it was very good. I also emailed Gosky about another issue with the scope and the customer service is excellent.

Decent scope

This is a decent scope for the money. Also works well at maximum magnification from a distance, mainly because the targets are 2D and require little or no depth of field. Overall it's a little light, but it works and works well. The tripod is very basic and should probably be replaced if you plan on using it more seriously. The phone adapter is a welcome addition and even worked well with my Motorola phone, which has a pretty crappy camera by today's standards.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Legacy model

Powered by Sports & Fitness

I bought this scope primarily for shooting over 200 yards. This area has a history. I first bought it 9 months ago and immediately returned it as it seemed too big to carry around. I wanted something good and less. After that I bought 8 more scopes and they went up to $600 even at big brands and I returned them all because they didn't work well at 200 yards. So I bought these again. Since everything is offered at fair prices, you can't go wrong with the purchase. I'm the kind of person who…

Disappointed in looks and construction.

Disappointed with build quality and picture. It looks good at first glance, but then you notice little bumps and loose parts, like a regular tripod that when fully screwed in causes the camera to shake. motionless back and forth on the plate; or a rain visor that comes off completely when you try it on with a metal ring at the end... and then there's a phone adapter. It's cheap too (as you'd expect), but it didn't work well with my iPhone XS Max. And of course the image itself, which looks…

Good value for money!

My birding friends recommended binoculars that were out of my price range! Scopes Under $2,500! As an amateur ornithologist, I decided to try an entry-level oscilloscope first. After reading the reviews I decided on Gosky 20-60X80. Oh my god I was shocked when I got the scope. It's very durable and really good quality, better than I expected. It's easy to use, has a sharp focus knob and a zoom knob. The included pouch is a little tight and it's difficult to get the scope in and out, but the…

Gosky 2019 upgraded scope compared to Roxant Blackbird scope

I like using the Roxant Blackbird scope. The mountains behind our house are about 4 miles away and I wanted something that could be a little more adaptable for wildlife viewing and settled on this 2019 Gosky model. I am impressed. The Gosky is better in almost every way, except for size, where it's about twice the size of the Roxant. Roxant is great because of its mobility, you can take it and sit on the hood of the car and look around the area. This Gosky is a bit bigger, but its performance…

A surprisingly good scope for the price!

Very decent quality spotting scope at the price of a lesser quality spotting scope. It produces a sharp, clear image at 20x and a very usable image at 60x - a point where other scopes in this price range can't seem to deliver. It's image quality at higher magnifications is on par with scopes that cost three times as much. In the photos I've attached, the tree in the distance is exactly 236 meters tall. At 20x magnification, dead branches are clearly visible. At 60x magnification a robin can be…

Suitable for target shooting - within limits

I bought it to use on the shooting range. I was hoping to use it to sight out to 300 yards, but I knew that distance could increase the scope's capabilities. First of all, I have to say that there is actually nothing wrong with this scope. The visor seems solid and durable. Adjusting the sight for power and focus is easy. The phone holder works really well. You have to fiddle with it to make it fit snugly in the scope, and it takes some patience to center the target in the scope so you can see…
