Perfect product for any user!

6.5 version. Got pros: - Clear, - Compact, comfortable design, nice materials, interesting design. Cons below: The material, similar to soft-touch or rubber, strongly collects dust.

Great product, best quality.

For its aperture, a surprisingly clear, bright picture + which simply cuts the field of view, its devices would be much more competitive.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

For its aperture, a surprisingly clear, bright picture + a unique macro mode. If Pentax did not have a stupid habit of pushing aspherics into all the eyepieces of its optics, which simply cuts the field of view, its devices would be much more competitive. Its pros: Weight, dimensions, brightness, sharpness, contrast, resolution, warranty, build quality, macro mode, quick-release strap. Has cons: Field of view, non-hermetic design, dust-tacky coating on the body.

I draw/draw several times a week in an open studio from live models. Even though I'm early enough to get a "good seat" there are things I can't see, especially when painting portraits. I tried different binoculars and they were all too powerful for my 6-10 foot range, plus I got a little dizzy trying to focus. They have high-quality optical lenses that don't wobble and are excellent for short distances. They are also small and light.

Pros
  • Aspheric lens: Provides exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness; This ensures that objects at the edge of your field of view are just as sharp as those in the center.
Cons
  • Sad equipment

So good I bought a second pair

I decided to keep my original Papillo 6.5- Replacing lenses as they have been subjected to such mechanical abuse and shock over the years that one of the lenses must have moved in some way. I couldn't see clearly with either lens. I have always found these binoculars invaluable on our nature walks. Not only do they offer a decent view from a distance, their real value lies in the opportunity to see nature up close. I have mobility problems. These binoculars give me clear and sharp images of…

Pros
  • . Diopter compensation: If you have different prescriptions for each eye, you can adjust the left and right glasses independently, and the large eye relief makes it convenient to use the binoculars even with glasses

Marco Focus is cool

I bought this camera for my wife last summer. We have a large wooded backyard and, like many others, have spent a lot of time at home. I have an old pair of 7x35 binoculars that she doesn't like. I think it's a bit stressful for bird watching. I got her this pair. Pentax Papillo works very well. Simple, light, very easy to use. Excellent body and eyepiece caps attach neatly to the neck strap. I set it up for her vision and I don't touch her. Work in the afternoon and into the early evening…

Amazing Kit

These are decent if not impressive binoculars in the traditional sense. But the close focus ability of an 18 inch screen is IMPRESSIVE! This "II" version has fully coated optics and delivers impressive images for such a small device. It's not bad for backyard bird watching and the like. 10x42 quality, but only in the sense that it doesn't magnify as much and isn't as bright in low light. After the comparison, I'd be quite happy with the Papilio as my only binoculars for what we use it for. The…

Pros
  • Fully Multi-Coated: Multi-coated optics deliver bright, crisp images with incredible detail.
Cons
  • Functionality

Wow! The close focus ability is amazing!

So I wanted compact binoculars to take with me on hikes. I wanted them to be able to focus because I like looking at insects too. They were highly rated on the binocular reviews site which is why I chose them. I would be happy with something that could focus up to, say, 5 feet, but I'd be missing out on a lot! Being able to focus to 1.5ft is insane! It's like having a magnifying glass, but doesn't get close to the subject. We recently visited the Cleveland Zoo and looking at the little animals…

The king of "bug binoculars " and a very nice compact model in general

They very much are nice compact. They're not as difficult to use as others I've tried. The problem I have with compact cameras is that eyepiece lenses are always small and have a very narrow beam and these eyepieces need to be placed and held directly over the center of the eye. It's almost impossible for me to use more powerful compact cameras like the 8x21 and 10x21 models because that cone of light is still narrower. 6.5x Papilios is slightly brighter and easier on the eye. Don't worry if…

Pros
  • Unique Pentax technology: The Pentax Papillion II not only offers long-distance vision, but also a new viewing experience with the original 50 cm macro
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

A unique model - no other on the market allows you to focus so close (the closest competitors are 1.2 meters), it actually works in the macro range. Usually we dive into the macrocosm through the lens of a camera, or with the help of a magnifying glass - these binoculars are an interesting alternative. It is especially useful for observing active small animals that do not let people close (dragonflies, butterflies, lizards). In another way, they can be considered only by catching, which is not…

Pros
  • -Macro! Actually, the main feature of this binoculars is the minimum focusing distance of 50 centimeters. The width of the field of view at this distance is 6 centimeters. Those. a butterfly, dragonfly or lizard can be seen in all its glory and in detail. But as binoculars themselves (for long distances), it also works - Build quality is excellent - Pleasant rubber coating, convenient strap latches -Good case - Lightweight, compact and fairly fast - Tripod socket present
Cons
  • - no dust and moisture protection, no filling with nitrogen (in binoculars for such a price it may already be). this greatly affects both the durability of the binoculars (the dust inside is very annoying), and the usability "in the field" (the binoculars fogged up inside are not a working tool). - with close focusing (1 meter and closer), the image is slightly doubled -price (again, taking into account the lack of dust and moisture protection and a plastic case),
