I decided to keep my original Papillo 6.5- Replacing lenses as they have been subjected to such mechanical abuse and shock over the years that one of the lenses must have moved in some way. I couldn't see clearly with either lens. I have always found these binoculars invaluable on our nature walks. Not only do they offer a decent view from a distance, their real value lies in the opportunity to see nature up close. I have mobility problems. These binoculars give me clear and sharp images of lichen, bark, flowers, berries, birds, etc. that I could never see with normal binoculars. The binoculars are also lightweight, which is also a big plus for me.
