Works great. My wife and I found a thin 32 inch Phillips TV at Good Will. The only problem was that it didn't have a remote control. With the same success, you could buy a universal one. Although the original is always better. The remote doesn't need to be programmed to work, just put in some batteries and then use it. The only downside is that it doesn't come with batteries.
