Maybe I was in the cheap category. I bought this ballast to fit a 4 foot light that is no longer working. In fact, replacing the ballast was not only cheaper but also easier than replacing the entire fixture. The ballast arrived as expected and the wiring is color coded for easy installation. I have ordered several of the same items and they all fit together except for the missing twist locks on one. It took about 10 minutes to assemble the tools (screwdriver and pliers), turn off the power, remove the lantern cover, bulbs, ballast cover, ballast and wiring, and install a new ballast. The plugin is now working properly. So the ballast costs half as much as a new lamp and saved me a trip to the store.
