I bought this sling to take my french bulldog puppy on long walks wear it's great for. He is 3 months old and weighs about 10 kg. I can easily wear it for 30-40 minutes. He loves to sit in a sling and watch the world go by while mom does all the footwork :) When he gets tired he can curl up and take a nap. helped us bond and keep me sane as I worked from home trying to manage a new puppy. I put the pup on, put the pup in the carrier, get my coffee, sit at my desk and start working, he sleeps in the carrier for a few hours. It will move and stretch, change position and I don't have to worry about it falling off my lap. Bonus, I always know where he is! It was actually a life saver with all the Covid-19 and trying to work. I introduced him to the sling by placing it on the chair next to me and placing him on it. At first I didn't try to get him there, I just introduced him to it. I then put it on a chair and wrapped it around him, not wearing it but making it feel like it was in a sling. After that, it was just an easy transition to mobility. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that the bag had a terrible smell on arrival but went away after airing it out. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the safety clip, although I don't think I would use it while walking, it's always under my control.
