First let me say that I really like this oven. But there are things in it that could be improved. I'll start with them and end with high notes. I don't like the user interface. It has 13 functions, but you have to press the function button up to 13 times to find the right one. In my opinion, this functionality would be greatly improved with a dial. And the default is Airfry. This is the mode it enters every time you turn on the oven. It would be much better if the default beacon was, or even better, a user-configurable one that you use most often. Speaking of Airfry, Airfry has 11 presets for different products, but the display doesn't show what it is. And the user manual doesn't say what it is either, so it's a serious bug. The only place I found information about Airfry presets was a photo from the Revain page for that product! And speaking of the user manual, there is very little detail in it. It doesn't show things that would be important to a new user, like Airfry presets or the recommended rack height for optimal cooking at different settings or preheat (more on that later). Another downside is that the bake mode has a maximum temperature setting of 360 degrees. If your dish requires a hotter oven, you will need to select a different setting, e.g. B. Fry, which is counterintuitive. Some modes have a preheat indicator, some don't, but the manual doesn't explain this. A new user might think that the preheat time will automatically change during baking and the oven timer will start counting down when the oven reaches the right temperature. But that doesn't happen; You just have to guess when the oven will be hot enough. (I messed up a cookie sheet while learning this tutorial!) Having said all that, you might think I'm disappointed in this oven. Well I don't. It's sleek and stylish, a really nice addition to the kitchen. It has a small area but a large oven space. I measured the baking temperature at various settings with an external thermometer and found it to be very accurate. As stated in the product description, the oven retains heat very well inside and does not heat the outside surfaces to dangerous levels, unlike other countertop ovens I have used. By the way, it does NOT dissipate heat from the back, so it won't burn the splashback or wall. If you have 3 inches of clearance at the back and sides and 5 inches at the top, this stove will fit your space. I was very skeptical about the "pizza" mode, as the preset baking temperature is only 330 degrees, with convection. To my surprise, the pizza came out perfect. There are 6 slots to insert the grate/tray, giving you many options to cook different dishes. The interior surfaces have an easy to clean finish which is a real bonus. So, here's my take on the oven. There are things I would like to see from the manufacturer, but in the end important features are already there. I am happy with my purchase.
