I was given this as a permanent waste alternative to parchment paper and I noticed a few things about it. First, it is very difficult to clean. Nothing sticks to it, but removing all the oil is incredibly difficult. I even washed it in the dishwasher but the oil still remains. I don't like the idea of constantly cooking food in dirty oil. Second, it retains the smell of soap/detergent. I can smell food being cooked on the liner. Third, it does NOT crunch it. I was kind of expecting this, but this problem doesn't arise for me with parchment liners. All this to say that I think that's what I bought it for. It's reusable, creates no waste and technically food doesn't stick to it. Although it's a bit wasteful now that I won't be using it anymore.
