Slightly leaking when used with thin liquids.

. They are made from thick, durable plastic and the zips are strong and ideal for an individual portion of yoghurt. If you plan to use popsicles for water or juice I suggest freezing them zipper side up in a freezer safe cup/container to prevent spills, but be aware that making multiple popsicles will take longer Freeze stem in a container. OVERALL REVIEW: I have used about 15 water and ice juice bags so far and 3 of them unfortunately had leaking zippers when used for this purpose. It's 20% bounce. I've taken extra care each time not to get any liquid in the zippers and to make sure they line up evenly and fully and seal tightly. I also fill them just half an inch BELOW the fill line and gently deflate to give the liquid enough room to expand. There doesn't seem to be any visible way to tell which ones will leak - they all seem serviceable, and only the thinnest of liquids leak. You'll know which ones were defective when you find them stuck to your freezer shelf in a large frozen puddle. Freezing them upright in a plastic drinking cup will help prevent leaks when they freeze and once completely frozen they can be safely laid down and stacked for freezer storage BUT the downside is that in the cup the cup will all squish and they will bunch up mutually isolating extent so freezing takes longer. Besides using it for popsicles, I've used about 2 or 3 dozen to make homemade gogurts for kids. I don't freeze them for yogurt, I just leave them on the shelf of the cheese fridge so I can stuff them a lot fuller and not have to be so meticulous about not spilling a drop. with zippers. That's why they don't lick at all. Which brings me to accessories. The little holders are cute and do the job of protecting hands from the cold, but the collapsible silicone funnel is more of a hindrance than a help. The stem is not long enough. It barely goes through the zipper so every little bump and glass will lift it over the zipper and the liquid will seep into the zipper. And it keeps breaking down on its own while I'm using it. A regular solid funnel is much more useful for filling them. It also helps if a second person opens the bags and hands them to you to fill, and then you give them back the filled bag to remove any air bubbles and seal. Otherwise, try making sure you always have at least 2 clean, dry fingers per hand to open and close the seals yourself while trying to keep your funnel from dripping all over the place between the bags. Considering I bought these primarily for non frozen yogurt and they are great for that purpose I will continue to use them. If I used them regularly for water and popsicles I would look for another brand.
