Review on SANDISK Micro SDHC Memory SDSDQM 004G by Daniel Mettler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

High-quality memory card

The price of these cards has doubled by Christmas 2012. But it was a good buy - just above $3.50 on November 1st. Class 4 cards don't have a transfer rate that you can write home at, but they work great in phones and voice recorders. Just don't expect 1080p HD video recording! As capacities up to 32 and 64 gigabytes become commonplace, these 4 gigabyte cards will soon become obsolete. (A two-gigabyte card costs the same as a four-gigabyte card.) But at the same time, you get a lot of music and photos for that money. By the way, at the time of writing this article (March 14, 2013) you can get an 8 gigabyte class 4 card for pennies cheaper than a 4 gigabyte card. Progress. Progress. So the only real reason for a smaller card is if your device doesn't support a larger capacity. Always check your device manufacturer first for comparability.
