Immediately after installation, the water took on an unpleasant chemical smell, of course from plastic risers. The seller offered to flush the aerator, but that was absurd as the smell started about a second after turning on the faucet. If you flush the faucet for a long time, the smell will go away, but the next day it will come back in force. Replacing the flexible risers with copper would have been a good solution to the bad taste and smell problem, but I also didn't like the design of the unit, it seemed poorly designed with individual faucets wobbling on their base. I ended up throwing it all away and buying another brand at a higher price. I also used copper risers to get rid of the plastic tubing. Now the water tastes good again. I've learned my lesson, you get what you pay for. But before you could buy the cheapest Delta faucet you wouldn't have these problems and it would have served twenty to thirty years with no problems. Those days are over.
