The most obvious advantage of this camera is its excellent economy. This is my second security camera. My first is a ring that cost me over $100 on sale. This cute camera has all the features I need: instant photo and monitor, motion alert and notification. Since I didn't order cloud service and didn't insert a memory card, I can't view historical recordings, but I can view some past warning videos on my phone. The video quality is pretty good. Just one thing, this camera is wired, not battery powered. So if you use them outdoors, be sure to find a suitable spot with an outlet. The good thing is that the cord is long enough that you don't have to remove it and change the battery. I plan to use it indoors to watch my cats in the kitchen.
