Very useful and well made

I love this bottle. Every feature is useful and there is nothing superfluous. WARNING: This is a very detailed review. I was carried away. A little background: I'm a college student working part-time on an internship. I've been using this bottle at school, work, the gym, on the road and at home for about 2 months now. I know it's a baby bottle but here are all the reasons why this bottle might be suitable for you as an adult: 1. The bottle is translucent so you can easily see how much water is in it instead of looking through the hole peeking or guessing by weight. Labeling on the side helps track consumption. While I love all things orange, it can be too bright and uncomfortable in certain conditions. However, the bottle is tinted just enough not to scream at you with color like an eyesore. I specifically searched Amazon for an orange bottle, one of the few translucent monochrome bottles.2. The button on the lid raises the mouthpiece and is great for one-handed drinking on the go, especially while driving.3. The mouthpiece is comfortably chewy but firm, reminiscent of a leak-proof cup with no baby drool. Very similar to Camelbak. The straw extends almost to the bottom of the bottle, and the valve in the cap creates a closed system with enough room to let air out (or in? No bottle mechanic) as you drink. Put simply, it's a silent experience. Being a straw, it has advantages; no tilting/tilting to drink, no heavy suction like rounded pop-up/squeeze-on lids, and no excess water spilling out of big holes. The cover of the rubber mouthpiece (? material not safe) is hygienic and snaps securely into place. Some other straw bottles don't have caps, which is pretty rough as it exposes a surface that comes in direct contact with the inside of your body.4. The size is perfect for me. The width makes it easy for me to grab the sides (I have small hands), the length easily fits in my small purse/backpack so I always carry it with me. The dimensions are slightly wider and shorter than a standard plastic water bottle. It's also lightweight and (maybe it doesn't matter to you, but it does to me) unlike metal-bottomed bottles, it doesn't jingle when placed on a hard surface (which is great for a quiet office environment). This is smaller than regular adult bottles. When trying to achieve your water goals, this size can be both a plus and a minus. Pro: You need to charge frequently. This can be motivating as you become more conscious as you drink. The first thing I do in the morning when I get to work I put water in the cooler, I have lunch, I put water in before I go, I go to school, I go to class, I put water in the fountain up, I study in the library, I go home, I pour water. Pitcher of filtered water and use until next morning. I knew nothing about my water drinking habits until I got this bottle. Cons: You have to charge frequently. Which can be annoying as good water fountains are not always available. Bottles are designed for portable liquid storage. It doesn't carry much. If you're a fitness fanatic, stick to the liter mug. It is made of hard plastic and is quite durable. I've dropped it on linoleum, carpet and wood a few times and it works and looks great. The lid is made of a stronger material and will withstand more pressure/wear, but the container is made of thinner, slicker plastic. I would not recommend if you are working outdoors or near concrete or in a steel floored workshop space as it is still plastic and will scratch. Estimated useful6. CARABINER. So so so useful when you can't carry the bottle in your arms or in your pocket or pass it on to someone else. Example: Just temporarily clip it to your belt when you're taking out some trash bags, then unhook it when your hands are free. It also comes in handy when you are camping or hiking. Otherwise, the carabiner fits easily into the handle on the cap. The perfect slope to comfortably hang on your finger. This is my first Amazon review and I knew I would be writing a detailed product description for it within the first week of using this bottle. I highly recommend it and hope your experience with it is as satisfying as mine.
