UPDATE: So I bought another Famper Pro Smart Webcam to see if the first one I bought broke. Firstly, the box it came in is completely different from my first order (see picture). Second, the camera itself is also different from my first order (see other photo). When I tested the second camera, it actually performed worse than my first. The first camera, which came in a white box, had a much wider field of view. The black box's 2nd camera only captured my face and part of the background. The video quality on my first camera was also slightly better than on my second. It's still too hard and the color is blurry, but it still looks better. The microphones of both cameras are the same. Both are fully muffled and quiet. I still have to use my laptop mic. Looks like I'll keep the first camera from the white box and bring the second one back from the black box. I feel sorry for those who bought the one I returned. PLEASE NOTE: This seller doesn't seem to have a problem giving people different cameras, so it's debatable whether you're getting a good camera or not. I bought a new gaming laptop with a built in microphone but no. built-in camera. Because of the good reviews I bought this Famper Pro Smart Webcam. Complaint #1 - The base sags and partially covers the screen (see image). My screen has thin bezels, but this is very annoying. I have to use the small tripod that came with it. Complaint #2: Every time I use the camera, the screen flickers on and off for a minute. Windows 10 then displays a notification that the Microsoft Windows operating system has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware. After that it seems to work correctly. Complaint #3. The audio when using the camera microphone is very muffled and low. Completely unacceptable. Luckily I can switch to the microphone on my laptop, which helps. Complaint #4. The video quality is too sharp. It's like they took a 480p video, sharpened it and called it 2k. In general, the camera is just normal. The effort is too great for me, I will probably send it back.
