Reopening Carbon Paper

I'm really showing my age by admitting that the last time I used carbon paper for a college writing project, I obediently sandwiched carbon paper between three sheets of bond paper when I had to check mine out Teacher 2 copies of my work and 1 for me. Of course, I kept the third specimen (the brightest) for myself, and the "good" specimens went to the teacher. And I remember hitting the keys of my Smith Corona very hard to get the best and darkest "impression". Now, a lifetime later, I had to transfer the intricate Christmas pattern to wood for relief carving. At first I tried using a stencil, but that turned out to be too cumbersome. Then I remembered carbon paper. I went to Michael's Crafts, Staples, even big stores, but most of the young clerks had never heard of carbon paper. So, at Revain I found this wonderful product. It arrived quickly as I expected from Revain and the quality is excellent. There are tons of sheets, literally for life. And 5 pins with 10 points. My pattern will transfer perfectly to the tree. I had to make a second copy and use the same template with the same sheet of carbon paper and the second print came out as dark and clear as the first. So yes I would highly recommend this incredibly smart product if you want a project like mine.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
