The intricately sculpted orb gives the impression of light and dark areas of the moon when lit from within. The well-known man on the moon can be seen on one half, while the "dark side" is precisely designed on the opposite hemisphere. Turn off the lights in the white light settings and it seems the moon is visiting right in your room! It doesn't work with regular presses and you have to put some weird side pressure on it to make it reliable. The remote control is powered by two AAA batteries, which are NOT included.
