Review on πŸ’» Optimal Shop 20+4 Pin LCD Computer Power Supply Tester - Reliable SATA IDE HDD ATX ITX BYI-Black by Kyle Ahmed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The power supply tester at a glance.

This is actually a very good PSU tester. The key to getting the most out of it comes down to user understanding, which I'll explain in this review. Plug and leave it there while cycling power. I mention this because holding or moving around the power supply tester will give incorrect readings. Next thing I saw in the reviews is something else that you unplug your PSU and then plug in the next connector, be it SATA, Molex, 4-6-8 pin connector etc. "hot-swap" so always switch power supply tester before proceeding to the next connection. The PG score means "Nutrition is normal". " and should be between 100ms and 500ms. If you get 0 ms, that particular plug has failed and you can no longer use it. LL means the voltage is too low and HH means the value is too low there will also be a buzzing sound with the rating PG - 0ms, LL, HH so be careful this indicates the voltage is outside the range range for the peripheral and you are getting no power at all, not enough voltage, or too much, which can fry your gear. The allowable range is ideally +/- 5% (+/-10% for the -12V rail) of what the voltage should give, but here are the maximum ranges I've found given your number is not in this range you now know what to do with your power supply +12v - 12.5v+5v - 5.3v+3.3v - 3.5v-12v - 13.2v You can actually test this block under load, but you have to take one Paper clip and you need to plug it into your main 20/24 pin connector. Plug in as many peripherals as possible and locate the green PWR_ON wire on the 20/24 pin connector and connect one end of the paper clip here and the other end to the black ground wire. This starts the power supply with everything working. That's it folks, a review that clearly explains how to use this tester. Have a nice day.
