Right after I got this in the mail I had to change a small tire on our mower. It had to be fitted with an inner tube and they are notorious for having difficulty aligning the valve stem with the hole in the rim when inserting the inner tube, fitting the tire back around the rim and inflating it. This tool solved that problem pretty well as it could be screwed onto the valve and held in place while the whole thing went on. Very easy. Added bonus in the form of extra valves, stems and a stem puller.
