The cord frays after a while, but the chain is good.
I have bought several of these collars for my dog over the years. They are beautiful and colorful and greatly reduce pinching. After about 8-10 months, the fabric cord will begin to fray where the chain crosses and will need to be replaced. They're inexpensive so replacing them isn't a big deal, but it would be nice if the cable was more durable. The metal links will not be damaged by wear and tear, only the cord, so this will not affect the safety of the collar.
