Good WiFi adapter for the price, irreverent, CD not USB, it's almost 2021!

This is a good adapter, especially if you don't have a Wi-Fi adapter on your laptop or desktop motherboard, or if it has Wi-Fi but doesn't support 5G. I bought it for $10 which is a good price, the signal is amazing, now my iMac (Late 2013) can enjoy the 5G speeds of my Spectrum 5G WiFi router. The installation is not as easy and compatible as advertised, yes it comes with a CD just as a guide, but oh well, it's almost 2021 already! Who will use CD-ROM devices in 2020? Even my 7 year old iMac doesn't have a CD-ROM. But there is a way out, I carefully disassembled it (just like USB) and saw the model. This is RTL (Realtek) 8812BU. I googled, found the drivers on the Realtek official website, set them up, I hope they worked, and everything is fine now! I haven't tried deleting the drivers and seeing if the drivers are loaded from Windows Device Manager, so I don't know if that would work. THIS IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY AND THIS IS IMPORTANT! THIS IS ALSO NOT COMPATIBLE WITH macOS AND Linux UNLESS YOU HAVE A CD DRIVE! ALSO THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CHROMEOS AT ALL! Ok, that's all I wanted to say and I'm very happy with the purchase! :)
