Love the idea of the ceramic blade and bought it to break up boxes for recycling. Initially it worked great for this purpose. However, the part holding the blade broke, rendering the box opener unusable. That was enough for about 15 boxes. Also, when cutting, you have to constantly pull the trigger to hold the blade - as soon as you let go of the blade, the blade will retract. There is no way to lock it in the "sheet out" position. This makes it a bit more difficult to use than other pliers, which allow you to set the blade in an open or closed position and place your fingers where you have the best grip. While I like the concept and design, I don't think the execution is worth the money. I've reverted to "regular" utility knives until something better comes along.
