I was shocked by the quality of the item. First, it's big. The box was 3 1/2 feet high and a foot wide. When I opened it, there was the whole set and an easel rolled into one. There were no instructions so it took me a while to figure out that the legs extend (they are on pins) but once I had it set up I was blown away by how perfect it was. All solid wood and wing nuts. The legs straighten and the middle leg falls down so the easel is at waist level. The central part is a large wooden box with all the items inside. The brass fittings are very good. It is durable, made of solid wood and looks very expensive. For the price I couldn't find anything better. It was delivered on time and to be honest just amazing. I feel like Monet with an easel of such great quality. Folding it up and taking it outside is easy. Excellent value for money and quality.
